Dedicated to the memory of Lincoln Morrell

Lincoln was a kind and gentle soul. He had a generous heart and a loving temperament. He loved running after balls and not always giving them back, it was his little joke to tease us with. Lincoln was a fabulous swimmer and could swim and dive in the lakes and streams in Sussex where we live. His phobia though was the sea which he took delight in barking at and never so much as put a big paw in as he didn't start off by seeing the sea as was a puppy in London before our big move to be by the sea-side when he was 18 months old. He loved his toys and took delight in playing tug of war with his favourite rope toy. When he was little he had his own cuddly toy which he carried around the house with him at all times. In later life he took things more slowly and enjoyed sniffs and ambling along the road at a slower speed where he would bump into his friend of a similar age down the road where they enjoyed having a little sniff together. He was a great companion to me and friend to everyone he met, never starting any trouble and always had a smile on his face and a wag of his tale for everyone including the postman. He brightened up our lives and those of everyone he met and made them laugh out loud at times at his funny antics. Lincoln is sourly missed by all that loved him and can never be replaced but he will equally never be forgotten as he truly is an angel now.
